Wine Wedding of 2001?
My boyfriend's sister and brother married in 2001, and gifts for the guests were small bottles 750 ml of white wine. It is custom labeled wine-kit to a type of store wine maker. 9 years later he is still sitting around a memory, which is currently in our kitchen. The seal of the CAP has never even been broken, it is always adorned with ribbon. My buddy has it in his head that he would probably not safe or if it was, all that good to drink. I think it is probably fine, and then it would not for a gourmet range I'm sure I pay for it. settle a bet: he drink? Or is it not?
It depends on how the bottles were sterile bottle and how much care was taken when it was brewed. Other then that is fine to drink even though at age 9, it can affect the taste (Usually for the better). I myself drank bottle of 15 years old and I "accidentally" found in the closet (I brew my own wine). Just open it and see. If it smells bad do not drink (this is the reason you all feel the cap). The chances are that it is good to drink.
