Is there a similar American wine made cheaper in the chapel of French wine?
I make a dish of beef with blue cheese sauce and wine Hermitage worked a lot with it. It was about $ 120 a bottle, and I can not afford too often. Is there a wine that is cheaper domestic that captures some of the same qualities to go with my meat?
Hermitage is a full-bodied, red, I would say the closest you would a Pinot woul Black, who is generally the same as a bugundy French wine. will not be as good, but could be close, I used it in stews and soups and its very good.
