Where can I buy clear glass bottles with screw caps for bottling homemade wine honey (mead)?
I am interested a big place in or around the Washington DC area.
Many supply stores have access to beer or sell such bottles. http://www.northernbrewer.com/wine-bottling.html is an example. Another good thing to do with mead is a plug swing. They are, in general, more expensive than screw caps, but they are more attractive and allow the mead to preserve easier. With a screw cap, you have to drink all the bottle almost in one sitting, or it can go wrong.
