Opinions about the color of the rim to finish the basement?

I finished my basement in a modern design with more of a home theater exercise room, a kitchen, a bedroom, office area, a large wine cellar and game room open. I plan to paint the black border, and possibly paint or stain the doors of a different color, as dk. Brown. The color palette is going to be more vibrant colors like green kiwi, red and cobalt blue. The rest of the house is transitional in design with white doors and trim. I have 9-foot ceilings and 4 windows with transoms several glass doors and glass leaves in the light, so I'm not really worried about it being too dark. The flooring I chose for the theater is a red / Print geometric cork for the wine cellar and neutral white / brown / beige 24 "slab stainless steel bar accent. I wonder if anyone has seen or done in black trim and opinions on this subject. Thank you.

Satin Black is a wonderful garnish. Sometimes I tone a little with dark brown paint for make it warmer. In your wine cellar where you have browns and bronze, which could help collect much. Another way to do if you think that the black is too cold to roll a coat of orange shellac on it to warm it. But I would say go for it. It would be a great way to have continuity and fluidity between your rooms and it is very striking against the bright colors that you chose in the main room. Enjoy!
