I try to establish a Top 25 Indie Band List for an article in a newspaper?
Please help me add List with whom you feel is in the top 25 indie bands of all time. Right now, I Pavement, Modest Mouse Rubdown (pre2004), Wolf Sunset Parade and Broken Social Scene, Menomena, Iron and Wine, Band of Horses (barely made the list for review, see: modest mouse) Ambulance LTD, destroyer, Frog Eyes, Swan Lake, Feist (see also Modest Mouse), Dino Jr., BTS, The Arcade Fire, Montreal, Neutral Milk Hotel, Joy Division, Kaiser Chiefs, dog doctor My Morning Jacket, Kings of Leon, etc. Im hard to contain it and I know I'm forgetting some older. And I know that some of these bands are on major labels now, but Im making a "list of all time," not necessarily "current" indie. Thank you!
